Use Shears on the full nest. With the Campfire smoke active, right-click the Bee Nest with Shears — you collect 3 Honeycomb and the nest resets to level 0. The bees continue their cycle undisturbed. You can harvest again as soon as they refill the nest to level 5.

Move the nest to your base for a permanent farm. Mine the Bee Nest with a Silk Touch axe while the Campfire smoke is active — this preserves the nest with all its bees inside. Relocate it to your base, place a Campfire underneath, and plant flowers nearby to keep the bees active and productive indefinitely.
