Anor Londo in Dark Souls 3 is a nostalgia-laden callback to the iconic location from the original Dark Souls — the same grand architecture and silver knights, reimagined in the DS3 engine. Unlike DS1’s Anor Londo, which was a full mid-game area, DS3’s version is more compact but equally atmospheric. After defeating Pontiff and Aldrich, you’ve cleared all of Irithyll — one of the game’s most celebrated sequences — and the path leads onward to the Irithyll Dungeon and Yhorm.

How to Reach Anor Londo
Anor Londo is reached by progressing through Irithyll of the Boreal Valley and defeating Pontiff Sulyvahn. After the fight, continue north through the fog gate into the large courtyard. Pass the giant enemies and enter the grand cathedral straight ahead — this building is Anor Londo. The entire area is a continuation of Irithyll rather than a separate loading zone. Recommended level: 65–75.
1Reach Irithyll of the Boreal Valley — this area opens after defeating the Abyss Watchers and Deacons of the Deep in the main story, then using the Pontiff’s Left Eye and the Sewer key to access Irithyll via the Sulyvahn’s Beast bridge shortcut.
