Build a Deluxe Barn. Pigs require a Deluxe Barn — the third tier of barn. You need to first build a regular Barn (350g + 150 wood + 150 stone), then upgrade it to Big Barn (450g + 200 wood + 150 stone), then upgrade again to Deluxe Barn (500g + 150 wood + 150 stone). Each upgrade takes 3 days. Visit Robin at her carpenter shop to build and upgrade.

Save up 16,000g. Pigs are the most expensive animal in the base game. Focus on making money fast with crops and other animals while your barn is being built. Aged wine and artisan goods are the fastest way to stack gold in mid-game.

Go to Marnie’s Ranch south of your farm and open the animal shop. Select pig from the list and confirm the purchase. Marnie’s shop is open every day except Monday and Tuesday, from 9am to 4pm.
