How to Craft a Wooden Pickaxe
Place 3 Wooden Planks across the top row and 2 Sticks down the middle column (center and bottom-center) of a crafting table. You need at least 1 Wood Log to start — punch a tree to get it, then convert to planks and sticks in your inventory. The Wooden Pickaxe is the very first tool you craft in any new world, and you need it to mine Stone for a Stone Pickaxe.
